Material Descriptions

Screened Loam

Processed

Loam processed through a screening plant to remove rocks, debris, and oversize material. Consistent texture and workability make it ideal for finish grading, lawn establishment, planting beds, and landscaping applications where a clean, uniform topsoil is required.

Unscreened Loam

Bulk

Naturally occurring loam excavated and delivered without screening. May contain small rocks and debris. Most economical option for rough grading, large-volume fill, and sub-grade preparation where finish quality is not required. Suitable for establishing base grades before screened loam or seed application.

Erosion Control Mix

Blended

Blended loam and organic material specifically formulated for disturbed area revegetation on construction sites. Meets NPDES permit requirements for temporary erosion control seeding. Applied to graded slopes, embankments, and exposed soils to establish vegetation cover and prevent stormwater runoff erosion.
